Job Title: Indirect Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Indirect Tax Specialist to join our Tax Services team. As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for performing indirect tax-related activities and services, with a focus on executing accurate and timely reporting and payments for all indirect tax returns for the applicable legal entities.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, validate, and submit all indirect tax reporting filings and requirements for the applicable legal entities, including maintaining indirect tax records and information.
  • Manage corrections, payments, and/or VAT refunds, as well as manage and reconcile the VAT accounts.
  • Support the indirect tax business partner and other stakeholders with input and requested information/data, including participation in tax audits and relevant projects.
  • Be the first point of contact for questions related to indirect tax sent via tickets or raised by AP and AR, or from Tax Authorities related to indirect tax reporting, escalating to the indirect tax reporting manager and indirect tax business partner if required.
  • Carry out relevant tax trainings for AP and AR, in cooperation with the indirect tax reporting manager and indirect tax business partner. Carry out relevant KICs and secure that relevant processes/instructions/guidelines/etc. are followed and give input in case of identified need for improvement.
  • Be involved in projects related to the implementation of solutions to fulfill indirect tax requirements in SAP and other relevant tools, as well as other projects where input and knowledge from the indirect tax reporting team is needed.
Requirements:
  • University degree in tax/economics/business or equivalent with relevant practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience within indirect tax and knowledge in indirect tax reporting, especially in the DACH region.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, flexibility, and openness to change.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and experience with financial reporting systems.
  • Strong English language skills (German language skills will be a plus) and ability to travel when circumstances allow.
