Smartoptics is a leading provider of advanced optical networking solutions, helping customers solve network challenges and stay competitive. We're looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Kista.
About the Role- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, analyze problems, and find solutions quickly.
- Work closely with different teams to provide complete customer support.
- Be available for on-call support 24/7/365 as per a rotating schedule and during emergencies.
As a Technical Support Engineer at Smartoptics, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support for our advanced optical networking solutions. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing problems, and finding effective solutions. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure seamless customer support.
In this role, you'll handle a wide range of technical issues, from transceivers and traffic interfaces to optical line systems, including transponders and muxponders. Your strong communication skills in Swedish and English will enable you to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience working in technical support, assisting customers via web, phone, and in-person.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and follow up to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to be on-call as per a set schedule.
- Ability to create documentation, including procedures, service bulletins, and manuals.
