We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Local Area Leader to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at Volvo Cars. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating world-class, global, lean, highly efficient, and flexible industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and reporting to stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities related to contracts for a specified area.
- Oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects for a specific area in the plant.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers at various levels.
- Work within established strategic planning systems to achieve specific targets within the area of responsibility.
- Participate in preparing new projects, identifying potential manufacturing issues, and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Experience in project work within manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Project management experience.
- Problem-solving skills.
