Responsibilities:

  1. Critical Package Deliverables: Define and drive critical package deliverables, resources, assurance requirements, and interfaces.
  2. Technical Document Management: Establish the list (MDR) of project phase critical technical documents and deliverables for review and assurance.
  3. Techical Aspect Management: Manage technical aspects, including defining scope of work, clarifying technical questions, participating in supplier selection, overseeing the quality of designs produced, reviewing and resolving engineering-related issues, monitoring & measuring performance, reporting, and escalating internal and external performance-related issues.
  4. Schedule and Risk Management: Ensure robustness of and adherence to schedule, monitor overall Unit risks and lessons learnt, compliance with process, and ensure timely close-out.
  5. Design Review and Assurance: Ensure Design Review & Assurance process is being followed, including schedule of reviews, participate in reviews, including documents/deliverables, and design reviews, including any pre- and post-work.
  6. Team Management: Resource management including resource allocation and management of team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in plant design and project management, preferably in the steel or heavy industrial sector.
  • Proven track record in large-scale greenfield projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
