About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planner to join our Supply Chain team at Inter IKEA Group. As a Master Planner, you will play a critical role in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our material and production planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze production needs and capacity situations to ensure efficient production.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain colleagues to set production mix and objectives on volume.
  • Develop and maintain the master plan, ensuring it is up-to-date and aligned with business objectives.
  • Set weekly production plans and coordinate the call-off of raw materials.
  • Forecast and place orders with suppliers, managing purchase orders effectively.
  • Manage the phase-in and phase-out of direct materials and finished goods articles.
  • Establish and maintain planning data, including articles, prices, and production structures.
  • Provide critical information to stakeholders on capacities, production output, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in planning and sourcing in a global producing environment.
  • Proficiency in business systems and Excel.
  • A higher education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to work in a structured manner.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and development.
  • A business-oriented approach with a holistic view.
