If you are passionate about quality and innovation, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our supply base grows at the same pace as the company's rapid expansion.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders such as engineering, product owners, category managers, and production/site quality teams. Specifically, you will support the part of our organization working with the control and protection system, MACH.

Responsibilities
  • Define strategies with category managers and product owners to qualify the supply base needed for HVDC's growth.
  • Take ownership of new supplier onboarding, ensuring a robust qualification process execution, while spreading quality awareness within the organization and with suppliers.
  • Manage non-conformities, supporting D1-D3 and driving D4-D8 with suppliers.
  • Actively monitor supplier quality performance, using relevant tools to identify areas of improvement. Define and implement quality improvement plans with suppliers based on analysis.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up surveillance audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement).
  • Be an informal leader in supplier quality, coaching suppliers and internal stakeholders towards an improved quality mindset.
  • Identify process improvements with the team to strengthen the supplier quality function.
  • The role requires traveling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments, and inspection of components and products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree related to electronics or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in electronics and/or quality.
  • IPC-certification and Green Belt certification is desirable.
  • Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor would be a plus).
  • Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment.
  • Experience in product qualification processes (PPAP or equivalent).
  • Excellent English skills, written and verbally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated technical attitude and passion for quality.
