Your Role: Jira Developer / Atlassian Engineer

You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain custom Jira solutions. With expertise in ScriptRunner and Jira Query Language (JQL), you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' critical project management environments.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Workflow Configuration: Design and configure custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications within Jira, leveraging ScriptRunner.
  • Process Optimization: Automate processes, build custom reports, and create tailored dashboards to enhance efficiency using ScriptRunner and JQL.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Engage with teams to address challenges, identify requirements, and implement effective solutions that adapt to changing project needs.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions to promote efficient tool usage and ensure successful adoption.
  • Integration Expertise: Seamlessly integrate Jira with Confluence, OpsGenie, and other tools to facilitate collaborative working.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Jira Developer or Atlassian Engineer, with a strong emphasis on ScriptRunner and JQL.
  • Technical Competence: Comprehensive knowledge of Jira Software Cloud, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and (preferably) OpsGenie.
  • Strategic Thinking: A keen analytical mind with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Effective Communication: The ability to interact successfully with diverse teams and convey complex technical ideas in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
