Supplier Quality Engineer

Evs Inmotion is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electronic components and materials supplied to our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate, drive, and monitor necessary corrective actions with suppliers.
- Responsible for implementing and enforcing Supplier Quality Management (SQM) on focus suppliers and their suppliers to establish and drive continuous improvement plans addressing specific performance issues and opportunities.
- Follow up on the qualification of new or changed articles.
- Participate in supplier qualification and selection.
- Perform supplier audits.
- Develop and improve the process for effective quality assurance.
- Travel within and outside of Europe may be required.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant higher education and five years of work experience. You should be clear in your communication and have the ability to inspire and develop people. You should have good knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing and a thorough understanding of quality standards (such as PPAP, APQP, IMDS, 6 Sigma, and similar).
To succeed in this role, you should have seen the production process from the inside and seen how customers' deliveries and productivity change through various measures. You should be able to manage your tasks in a structured manner and enjoy problem-solving. Fluent English in speech and writing is a requirement.
