Materials Engineer for Regulatory Compliance

In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select materials and chemicals that meet legislative requirements.

Key Tasks:

  • Evaluate and select materials and chemicals that comply with relevant legislations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define material requirements and specifications.
  • Support supplier and internal audits as a material and processing expert.
  • Conduct technology scouting and execute experiments to characterize and qualify new materials.
  • Develop detailed reports on materials testing results using various characterization methodologies.
  • Provide technical expertise on material selection, processing, and application.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in materials science and engineering.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials and chemicals characterization methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of global product material compliance regulations.
  • University degree in chemistry, materials science, engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of global environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
