About the Opportunity

This Project Planning and Scheduling Expert position is part of our HVDC business in Västerås or Ludvika, Sweden. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, controlling, and monitoring of customer-specific large-scale projects, delivering accurate and thorough information about project status to project managers and line managers in a timely manner.

Your duties will include leading the Project Planning and Controlling team for one or more HVDC projects in the region, contributing to on-time delivery of projects, driving collaboration between partners, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and actively monitoring and controlling project progress using Hitachi Energy policies and best practices.

About Your Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent, minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC project controls/management, certification or further education like PMI-PMP is a plus, knowledge of MS Office and Primavera P6, strong communication skills, pronounced customer orientation, structured working methods, and ability to work in a team. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
