Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Infotree Global Solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in understanding, documenting, analyzing, and managing the requirements for the construction and testing of IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of training materials, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the in-depth analysis, identification, and translation of business needs into functional system requirements.
  • Follow established procedures for managing requirements, including baselining, change control, and requirements traceability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of analysis and process re-engineering, including business process modeling, capability gap assessment, and solution approach definition.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on proposed solutions.
  • Document specifications and interfaces between new systems and system enhancements.
  • Develop test plans and test cases.
  • Produce technical documentation, including design documents, coding documents, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, development, testing, and deployment teams.
  • Detail user stories by adding acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Align with the Product Manager to prioritize user stories and assign stories to relevant teams.
  • Manage the product/team backlog.
  • Organize and lead sprint refinement sessions.
  • Ensure that delivered products meet intended business value through UAT and acceptance tests, and training of end users.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of tech fundamentals, including software development, architecture, integration, cloud, web applications, and micro-services.
  • Experience in business analysis or related technical fields, such as application development, technical product ownership, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Agile Methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, including KPIs and business case construction.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a pragmatic outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate constructive collaboration, teaming, and knowledge-sharing between stakeholders.
  • Influence decision-makers and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Location: Stockholm (one day per week remotely)
