Engineering Process Specialist

As a leading company in the Power Transformers business, TN Sweden is seeking an experienced Engineering Process Specialist to drive operational excellence and accelerate our journey towards a carbon neutral energy system.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Process Analysis and Improvement: Map and analyze existing processes and tools across Europe, focusing on operational basics and design for excellence.
  2. Efficiency Boost: Propose improved approaches to boost efficiency and meet growing demand for Engineering capacity.
  3. Standardization: Promote standard work based on design schema and implement clear stages and decision points in Engineering processes.
  4. Quality Assurance: Foster Quality by ensuring critical to quality controls are in place.
  5. Community Engagement: Collect proposals from the Engineering Community to improve design tools and scrutinize them with the Engineering Management Team.
  6. KPI Establishment: Establish KPI's to monitor process and tool implementation and initiate improvement initiatives as needed.
  7. Project Transfer: Guarantee seamless transfer of projects between locations and maintain required documentation, training, and tools.
  8. Collaboration: Cultivate collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Procurement functions, highlighting Engineering's role in the value chain.
Requirements
  1. MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Aided Design preferred).
  2. 8-10 years of experience in an Engineering function, preferably in Transformers.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of PLM (Windchill preferred), 3D CAD (Creo preferred), CAD Automation, and ERP systems.
  4. International experience and Intercultural sensitivity.
  5. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  6. Structured and analytical thinking with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
  7. Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
