About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Release Manager to support our IT development process execution in practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of IT development initiatives in production environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities needed for Caverion IT development process practical execution
  • Develop and maintain release calendars and schedules, and track release progress for several major software applications
  • Identify risks and issues that could impact the successful release of new software or features
  • Ensure that release changes, technical and business-related, are properly documented and communicated in the form of release notes
  • Ensure that the development and change management process goes as smoothly as possible
  • Keep an eye on post-deployment issues and follow Releases Quality KPIs
  • Continuously seek opportunities to develop and automate processes and toolsets used, and coordinate such development actions
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role (5+ years); for example, you could have worked as a developer, development manager, project manager, release manager, or Scrum Master
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies
  • Excellent project management and co-operation skills
  • A "hands-on" person who is able to do troubleshooting and solve problems that arise during the release process
  • Good understanding of different IT technologies and the differences in their release processes
  • Experience in using JIRA and ServiceNow
  • Good English communication skills, spoken and written, and preferably one of the Nordic languages or German
