About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and designing data-driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics platform. You'll be responsible for technical tasks, collaborating with customers, creating and analyzing requirements, designing concepts, and sharing your knowledge with our customers. Additionally, you'll work closely with technology partners to integrate their globally leading data and AI products.

You'll join diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer experts, with tasks and assignments tailored to your background and interests.

To succeed in this role, we're looking for individuals with:

  • Professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with data-driven solutions.
  • Software development skills in Python and SQL (or other programming languages).
  • Knowledge of big data-related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Apache Spark.
  • Experience with cloud solutions – preferably Azure.
  • Passion for continuously learning new things and aiming higher.
  • Confidence to take responsibility, honesty, and openness as a member of a team.

Language Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Swedish is mandatory.

The following additional experience is valued:

  • Experience with social and healthcare data.
  • Data warehouse, data lakes, or lakehouse experience.
  • Dimensional data modeling, star schemas, and data marts.
  • Development of Power BI.
