Job Title: Procurement Strategist

 

We are seeking a skilled procurement strategist to support our client's global sourcing initiatives. As a key member of the project team, you will drive strategic procurement and category management activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with category managers on supplier qualification and audit processes.
  • Initiate purchase orders and provide quotation comparisons to inform purchasing decisions.
  • E nsure suppliers comply with company requirements, including laws, regulations, standards, certificates, and directives.
  • M anage timely responses from suppliers.
  • Work closely with the global category management team, transactional buyers, logistic planners, and supplier quality engineers.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in tactical purchasing and category management within manufacturing.
  • Academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Experience in purchasing technical equipment.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical skills combined with a structured mindset.
