Job Description:\
Hitachi Energy seeks a skilled Category Specialist to join our global sourcing team. In this role, you will work closely with the category manager to drive strategic sourcing activities and develop RFQs/RFPs for project execution. Additionally, you will analyze market trends, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and implement Supplier Quality programs. \

Responsibilities\\\

• Develop and implement RFQs and RFPs to support project execution\\
• Collaborate with the category manager to execute strategic sourcing activities\\
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions\\
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms\\
• Implement and manage Supplier Quality programs to ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy standards\\
• Foster collaboration among Hitachi Energy teams to achieve shared goals\\
• Embed core values of safety and integrity in all business operations\\
\
Requirements\\\

For this role, you must have more than 5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in supply chain functions, category management, strategic sourcing, project management, or procurement. A master's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management, is desirable. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze complex data, and experience working in a multicultural environment.\
