Project Overview
This Master's Thesis will investigate the application of cross-correlation methods to estimate the absolute radius of vehicle wheels. The project aims to develop and validate an algorithm for estimating the absolute vehicle speed by analyzing surface-induced noise using cross-correlation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a literature study and theoretical modeling of the proposed algorithm
- Develop and implement the algorithm in MATLAB
- Validate the algorithm using collected data
- Implement the algorithm in C code (optional, depending on time constraints)
Requirements
- Master's program in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science)
- Strong background in signal processing, MATLAB, and software development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
