About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Production Manager to join our team at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions. As a key member of our workshop operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of our maintenance and repair processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Workshop Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring that activities are well-coordinated and resources are efficiently utilized.
  2. Help with scheduling tasks and managing timelines to meet production targets and deadlines.
  3. Work with various teams to develop and refine maintenance and repair processes for aircraft components.
  4. Ensure all processes comply with aviation regulations and industry standards.
  5. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  6. Use strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  7. Maintain orderly workflows within the workshop to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Ensure all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  9. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities. Stay updated on relevant aviation regulations.
  10. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address concerns and prevent recurrence.
  11. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  12. Carefully review documentation, track inventory, and monitor project progress to identify potential issues.
  13. Spot discrepancies or potential problems early to address them proactively.
  14. Anticipate challenges and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  15. Make informed decisions to ensure smooth operations.
  16. Maintain open communication channels with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  17. Address concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  18. Foster a positive team environment and promote cross-functional collaboration.
  19. Work towards achieving shared goals and objectives.
  20. Ensure all workshop activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  21. Lead or participate in investigations to identify root causes of incidents or non-compliance issues.
Requirements
  1. Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
  2. Strong capabilities in developing and improving processes.
  3. A structured and organized approach to work.
  4. Well-versed in different IT environments and excellent computer skills.
  5. Keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  6. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  7. Exceptional communication skills for effective team and stakeholder interactions.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  9. Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations.
