About the Role

AIG is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join its Nordic Financial Lines team, focusing on D&O (Director and Officer Liability) insurance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of commercial insurance policies, with a focus on growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and partners in the Nordic region.
  • Underwrite and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance policies, with a focus on D&O and other Financial Lines products.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and partnerships in the Nordic market.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Financial Lines, Sverige, to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting and Financial Lines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
