About the Team

You will join a highly collaborative and dynamic team of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results. As a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Project Planning and Controlling team, ensuring the successful execution of large-scale customer projects.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project milestones. They will also have a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Project Planning and Controlling team for one or more HVDC projects in the region.
  • Contribute to on-time delivery of projects by driving collaboration between partners, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ensure close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders as a central contact person.
  • Monitor and control project progress using Hitachi Energy policies and best practices to meet customer requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC project controls/management (EPC – engineering, procurement, construction).
  • Certification or further education like PMI-PMP is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Strong communication skills, customer orientation, structured working methods, and teamwork ability.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
