The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our cross-border legal function as a Legal Counsel Content. As part of our team, you will work closely with our Content team and Content Acquisition team to draft and negotiate content-related agreements. You will also build effective relationships with external partners and key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Draft and negotiate content-related agreements, such as production agreements, content acquisition agreements, format agreements, talent agreements, etc.
* Help build and develop effective relationships with external partners and key business stakeholders.
* Align content rights with sublicensing, sales, and customer needs to ensure back-to-back mitigation of risks and maximize opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced lawyer who shares our passion for content creation and distribution. To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A Master of Law degree
* At least 3 years' work experience, including hands-on experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements
* Native-level proficiency in Swedish or Norwegian
* Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
* Strong ability to build relationships and deliver pragmatic legal advice to colleagues at all levels

Bonus qualifications include specialized knowledge in intellectual property law, proficiency in more than one Nordic language, experience in the film and TV industry, and a can-do attitude with a good sense of humor.
