We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Manager to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the ISO26262 standard and developing technical work products specific for functional safety requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electronics, software, or computer engineering, with over 10 years of experience in automotive system/software development within the Safety area. You should have excellent knowledge of safety engineering processes, such as Hazard and Operability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.

Your main responsibilities will include leading functional safety engineering activities for product development teams, driving the development of functional and technical safety concepts, and supporting the implementation of functional and technical safety requirements in all parts of the vehicle system design.

You will also contribute to operational strategies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and confidence among your colleagues and management.
