Network Engineer - Västerås

Northvolt AB is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Västerås. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture to meet business requirements
  • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • CCNA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including IP routing and switching
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV)
  • Experience with network automation and scripting
  • CISSP or equivalent security certification
