The Role

This Senior Buyer position plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable procurement practices and leading innovative projects that contribute to Vattenfall's vision of creating fossil-free energy within one generation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of sustainable procurement practices.

Responsibilities
  • Drive alignment of procurement plans with business objectives and stakeholder requirements
  • Develop and implement advanced category and contracting strategies, focusing on sustainability and ethical sourcing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage complex supplier relationships
  • Promote innovation and transparency within the supply chain, ensuring equitable treatment and strategic partnerships
Qualifications

Candidates must have a proven track record of success in strategic procurement or category management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. A Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required, along with relevant professional certifications.
