Job Description

The Specialist, Rider Compensation Operations role is responsible for accurate and timely rider payout processing. This position involves collaborating with country finance and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of rider pay systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the rider payments team to calculate and process rider payouts in accordance with agreed-upon cycles.
  • Liaise with country finance and people teams to guarantee accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Implement bonus and penalty adjustments not accounted for in the Rider pay system (Rooster).
  • Develop and execute basic queries for manual rules to analyze and address rider pay anomalies.
  • Enhance the payout process by working with rider quality and fintech teams to integrate and automate repetitive tasks.
Requirements for Success:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, operations, or payment operations roles, preferably within logistics, e-commerce, or tech industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle complex data, ensuring compliance while maintaining fairness and transparency.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including rider payments teams, People, and Finance, to resolve payment-related issues and improve processes.
  • A keen eye for detail in monitoring outliers, payment fraud, and enforcing consistent compliance measures.
  • Experience with process optimization and a focus on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and risk management in payment processing.
