Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy to lead our finance function and play a key role in driving our growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute our financial strategy to drive scalable and profitable growth.
  • Lead our finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
  • Identify areas for improvement in our financial processes and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with our development, marketing, and books teams to drive business growth and success.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in finance and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You should have at least 7+ years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a high-growth tech, media, or subscription-based business.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or management control.
  • Fluent in English, with a bonus if you also know German, Finnish, Polish or Dutch.
