QualificationsWe are looking for students with knowledge and interest in IT and programming. It's great if you also enjoy interacting with customers and finding business interesting. Most importantly, you should be excited about working with an entrepreneurial-driven software company where curiosity, responsibility, and flexibility are essential for future success. At least professional working proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English is required.
Our employees have backgrounds from all engineering specializations, and almost all have a master's degree in Technology. The company's aim of the thesis project is to hire full-time employees, and previous theses have led to employment after completion.
Thesis OpportunitiesThere are plenty of opportunities to write a thesis in the intersection of Technology and Logistics. Previous theses have been within large-scale optimization, eCommerce picking, and software testing. If you have specific subjects you want to explore, we are happy to help you find mutual interests. Our engineers may also have ideas that you can explore.
Suggest Packaging with Machine LearningOne potential thesis project involves using machine learning to suggest packaging based on inputted information about ordered products. This could help reduce environmental footprint by optimizing packaging material, transports, and recycling. We can explore possible paths together, aiming to help our customers.
Using Artificial Intelligence to Suggest Warehouse LocationAnother potential project involves using AI techniques to help customers pick more efficiently. We can explore association rule learning and other methods to improve the batching process. This could lead to significant time savings and improved customer satisfaction.
Order Batching ProblemWe can also explore the order batching problem, which involves distributing individual orders into optimal batches. Using methods like Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition, we can improve the batching process and reduce time spent on picking.
