The project is part of a recently granted 4-year EU project, which aims to develop a unique toolbox to assess the intestinal, metabolic, and mental health benefits of foods and dietary supplements. You will be involved in planning, executing, analyzing, and disseminating results in studies combining laboratory experiments and human dietary interventions.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term position for two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for conducting microbiota and microbiota metabolite analyses of samples collected among study participants.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct microbiota and microbiota metabolite analyses of samples collected among study participants
  2. Plan, execute, analyze, and disseminate results in studies combining laboratory experiments and human dietary interventions
  3. Collaborate with other members of staff and contribute to the development of operations

Requirements:

  • PhD in Biomedicine or related field
  • Experience in laboratory studies with human microbiome and microbiome metabolites
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
