At Volvo Construction Equipment, we are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our team in the Europe and International region. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

This dynamic role combines technical expertise, coaching, and innovation. As a Technical Trainer, you will develop and guide dealer trainers and service technicians, ensuring they acquire high-level skills required in today's evolving industry. You will also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), linking CD&D with key departments such as Technology, Service Engineering, and Diagnostics.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor dealerships' training teams to deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Design and conduct hands-on, skills-based training sessions focusing on must-know essentials for technicians and dealer trainers.
  • Explore and integrate new technologies and learning methods to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop high-quality training materials supporting dealer network growth and success.

What We Offer

You will be part of a multicultural team with members based in Sweden, France, Germany, South Korea, and Hungary. Our training centers are located in several places, including Eskilstuna in Sweden, Trappes in France, Konz in Germany, Motherwell in Scotland, and Dubai in the UAE.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of construction equipment and electronics/electrical systems.
  • Natural coach passionate about developing others and fostering continuous learning.
  • Excellent social skills with ability to support project teams and colleagues in achieving results.
  • Cultural awareness and openness to international networking.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Flexible problem-solver able to adapt to new training approaches and evolving industry needs.
  • Digital proficiency with strong ability to utilize collaboration tools.
  • Complete proficiency in English; knowledge of Swedish and/or French is a plus.
