The Director of E-Commerce will define and execute the e-commerce vision, product direction, and web marketing strategy for a best-in-class consumer experience. This role requires a dynamic leader with the ability to drive growth, optimize user experience, and work cross-functionally to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce plan to drive revenue growth, improve customer experience, and increase market share.
  • Managing the digital user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to refine event tracking, identify customer segmentation opportunities, and optimize digital channels.
  • Authoring and maintaining requirements documentation that details business objectives, priority, scope, level of effort, timeline for execution, and expected return for all web and mobile projects and enhancements.
  • Monitoring competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth or threats to the business.
  • Establishing and maintaining e-commerce best practices for our organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 7+ years' hands-on experience in direct B2C e-commerce/web marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of online media acquisition, SEO, affiliate marketing, email, and social media strategies.
  • Prior experience with web content management systems (CMS) and personalization technology.
  • Working experience in web technologies, web programming languages, web page design/layout, and website performance measurement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new e-commerce strategies and proficiency in Google Analytics and Tableau.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex issues and successfully articulate them to management and cross-functional partners.
