Engineering Operations Manager

Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly skilled professional to lead our Data Centre Engineering Operations Team.
The Data Centre Chief Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of data centre infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading the DCEO Engineering Team.
- Developing and implementing performance benchmarks, conducting analyses, and preparing reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
- Overseeing the operation and management of routine and emergency services for various critical systems.
- Collaborating with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Degree qualification in an applicable engineering discipline (or currently enrolled in one).
- At least 3 years of Data Centre Engineering/Operations Experience.
- Experience working on Data Centre Infrastructure; UPS/Generators/Chillers.
- High/Low Voltage Authorised Person (AP) experience.
