We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Energy Storage System Specialist to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Power Systems department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) connected to the grid.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Battery Container Layouts: Collaborate with electrical, civil, solar, and wind experts to create complete packages that meet client needs.
- Design Electrical Systems: Develop single-line and three-line diagrams with required electrical details for battery systems.
- Model Energy Storage System Performance: Coordinate with third-party monitoring companies to integrate BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs for the battery system.
- Develop Technical Specifications: Create technical specifications and scopes of work for Ramboll clients.
- Design Battery Enclosure Solutions: Develop different types of battery enclosure solutions, including cabinet-type, container-type, and building-type storage solutions.
- Investigate Design Factors: Analyze design factors such as function, durability, performance, efficiency, and contractual requirements.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in the energy sector, with a specialized focus in the solar PV space. You should have experience with PVSyst, PVSOL, AutoCAD, and ScatchUp, and be fluent in English and preferably Swedish. You should also have some understanding of various types of government and utility programs, such as Feed-in Tariffs, Net Metering, and Net Billing.
