About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our R&D team at Qvantum. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical components for our next-generation heat pumps.

Your primary focus will be on creating prototypes that meet rigorous standards and are ready for full-scale production. You will collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and external component suppliers to ensure our products comply with all relevant standards and directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical solutions for new heat pump products.
  • Create and test prototypes in our in-house lab to rapidly verify ideas.
  • Ensure products meet compliance with industry standards and directives.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to align on component specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support the transition to full-scale production.
  • Drive the development process from concept to commercial launch.
About You

We are looking for a motivated electrical engineer with a strong background in designing electrical systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

We require:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least three to five years of work experience within electrical engineering product development.
  • Familiarity with the specification, calculation, design, and testing of products and components in a mass-production setting.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Knowledge within the heat pump industry, Machinery directive, as well as Safety Standards for Household Appliances is a merit.
