Senior Mechanical Engineer

Climeon is a pioneering company in sustainable energy solutions, converting waste heat into clean, carbon-free electricity through their innovative HeatPower modules. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of product development, leading the design, integration, testing, and development of our HeatPower modules from concept to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Oversee the mechanical architecture and product design decisions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
- Product Development: Develop innovative design concepts, define product requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
- Supplier Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components.
- Design Documentation: Create detailed models, drawings, and specifications using CAD software, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for design, testing, and manufacturing purposes.
- Design Optimization: Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize product manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Testing and Installation: Provide technical support during product testing and installation phases, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in leading mechanical development projects from design to production, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in CAD software and design documentation.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication. Experience with piping, process equipment, or pressure vessels is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
