We are seeking a talented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at HVDC. As a key member of the Supplier Quality team, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence throughout the value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include implementing quality plans, supporting new supplier onboarding, and managing supplier results. You will also be involved in surveillance audits, supplier quality reviews, and claim management processes.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Drive Quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality plan implementation
  • Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring a robust qualification process execution
  • Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify areas for improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards
  • Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis) and analyze periodically historical NC to drive improvement plan
  • Planning, Execution and Follow up of Surveillance Audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement)
  • Support Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement
  • Support Supplier claim management process
  • The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and inspection of components and products

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in quality roles, preferably in a multinational company
  • Green Belt certification is desirable
  • Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor would be a plus)
  • Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment
  • Experience in product qualification process (PPAP or similar)
  • Fluency in English – capability to lead technical conference calls, read drawings and procedures in English
  • Solid communication skills for cross functional and global team environments
