Job Description
As a System Administrator IT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, stability, and management of critical IT tools and applications. Your team owns CAD and Simulation software, working closely with teams owning Product Lifecycle Management tool Teamcenter, used by end-users in Epiroc.

Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, contributing to process improvements, configuring CAD and Simulation software, maintaining integrations, owning response time and performance of applications, and timely incident and problem resolution. You will collaborate with various teams in the Operations Solutions department and be in contact with end-users to understand their needs.

Together with the IT organization, this role is expected to manage server environments, ensure network security, oversee data storage systems, install, configure, and update hardware and software, troubleshoot technical issues, develop and implement IT policies and procedures to optimize system performance, ensure data confidentiality and integrity, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all IT processes and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have strong knowledge of IT systems in general as related to the tasks listed above and experience in CAD and Simulation applications and servers. You need an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Network Systems, Computer Science, or similar relevant working experience. You should be proficient in English and comfortable using it as a primary language for communication and collaboration. Proficiency in Swedish is beneficial but not required.

The ideal candidate is service-minded, focused on ensuring a high-quality system delivery by identifying and reporting defects, identifying areas of improvement, and actively participating in the product development lifecycle. Effective communication skills and a strategic way of thinking are essential. Problem-solving skills, structured approach, and good documentation skills are also necessary.
