Rollen fokuserar på utveckling och spridning av globala kategoristrategier och initiativ, att leda våra stora leverantörsrelationer, utveckla djupare relationer med de olika intressentgrupperna genom effektiva affärspartnerskap, och säkerställa att de underliggande processförbättringarna och upphandlingsaktiviteterna levererar det förväntade affärsvärdet.

Dina arbetsuppgifter i huvudsak
I denna roll kommer du att ansvara för att utveckla långsiktiga strategiska planer för en hel utgiftskategori inom AstraZeneca. Du kommer att hantera intressent- och leverantörsrelationer för att säkerställa att kategoristrategier är väl anpassade till nuvarande och framtida affärsbehov och att utbudsbasen är kapabel att stödja dessa strategier.

Du kommer att leda projektinitiativ kopplade till kategoristrategierna för att leverera värde till verksamheten, leda implementeringen av hållbarhetsinitiativ med leverantörer och leda komplexa avtals- och kommersiella förhandlingar.

Du kommer att arbeta tillsammans med nyckelintressenter och anpassa dig till GPS (Global Procurement Services). Du kommer att säkerställa ett datadrivet förhållningssätt till kategorihantering och högkvalitativa analyser för att leverera insikter, förmågor och resultat.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter är;

Leda implementeringen av kategoriplaner för att säkerställa att de underliggande processförbättrings- och inköpsaktiviteterna levererar affärsvärde i enlighet med den strategiska planen och hjälper till mot våra hållbarhetsmål.

Utveckla långsiktiga strategiska planer för överenskommen omfattning av utgiftsområde, med fokus på att leverera bredare värde, innovation och besparingar.

Stödja teamet i strategisk relationshantering (kund och leverantör) - se till att kategoristrategier är helt anpassade till nuvarande och framtida affärsbehov, och vi upprätthåller en försörjningsbas som kan stödja dessa strategier.

Arbeta tillsammans med Global Procurement Services (GPS) som ger råd om och driver upphandlingsstrategier för att fatta beslut som är nödvändiga för att göra inköp i enlighet med organisationens mål.

Ge råd om kontrakt och avtal för leverans av sofistikerade produkter och tjänster med nya och befintliga leverantörer

Tvärfunktionellt stödja globala inköpskollegor och samarbeta för att fastställa och slutföra strategin.

Eftergymnasial utbildning inom relevant område.
God erfarenhet av upphandling/ Supply Chain
Kunskap inom "Category Management" (helst inom R&D/Pharma)
Erfarenhet av projektledning och förändringsledning
God gedigen förståelse för forskningsmiljön
