Range Experience support customers realizing their home furnishing dreams. We create digital solutions for the entire IKEA range and for all IKEA retailers. We build 3D planning and guiding solutions for the full home. Customers should experience an accessible, inspiring, and rewarding journey based on needs and preferences and co-workers help our customers with a fun, efficient, and unbroken sales process. The solutions and capabilities we develop are an integral part of converting visitors into happy customers. Creating a personalized experiences is an integral part of what we do.
Range Experience deliver solutions to all IKEA retailers in over 50 markets and more that 400 stores and digital channels. All solutions are made to help customers and co-workers in all customer meeting points, from the mobile phone to the largest IKEA store in the world.
Being a UX Designer in the Range Experience team
A User Experience Designer you work together with product owners and technical leaders in an agile product driven setup. You are responsible for driving the end-to-end experiences across a multitude of sales channels and products. You ensure a seamless, inclusive and delightful experience for all touchpoints in the customer journey.
You are involved in the full process from research, hypothesis, explorations, prototyping, up to polished designs and fully developed solutions. In the process you continually validate your hypothesis with qualitative methods such as interviews, hallway testing, and moderated tests as well as quantitative tools like surveys and A/B testing.
To be successful in this role
To succeed in this role, you have proven experience in service design thinking, interaction design, and visual design. You have a good grasp on inclusive design, accessibility guidelines like WCAG and similar frameworks.
You have concrete work samples and are up to date with the impact of a UX approach across digital and physical. You have a strong point of view with a data aware attitude; you embrace measurability in what you do. Work is across disciplines and act as the glue between business, user and technical feasibility towards a common goal.
You have a strong interest in retail, home furnishing and everyday life at home. A good understanding of customer and co-worker needs in a buying and selling journey. And you can create a delightful experience with IKEA for the user - every time.
You enjoy an agile and iterative way of working, achieving results with a product team in a flexible environment, you have a strong individual drive to deliver high quality results, on time together with good communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.
Travelling based on business needs will be necessary.
