We now recruit – IT Business Partner

In this role, you will make a difference and support the growth of Elisa IDS businesses. As an IT Business Partner (IT BP), you act as the liaison between the IDS IT department and one of the IDS companies. You ensure that IT services and solutions align with business objectives and strategies. This role is critical for integrating technology into the company's overall strategy and ensuring that technology investments add value to the business.

In this position, you will join a growing international team and be part of the IDS IT team, reporting to the Head of IDS IT. Your closest colleagues will be the IDS IT team, central IDS business functions, and specific IDS companies. However, in a matrix, you will be working in close cooperation with Elisa Group IT and Elisa business functions.

We’re currently hiring in Sweden and in particular Stockholm, yet this position could also be located in any other Elisa Company office location in Northern Europe.

Your Main Responsibilities Are:

- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and translate those into IT solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters for business units, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Oversee the delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Facilitate change management and encourage user adoption of new technologies within the business to help the business gain a competitive edge.
- Ensure that IT resources are utilized efficiently.
- Jointly with the information security function, identify and mitigate risks associated with IT systems, processes, and projects, and adherence to regulatory standards.

To succeed in this position, the following is required:

- 8+ years of experience working in IT in management and/or senior specialist roles.
- Wide knowledge and experience of IT systems, emerging technologies, and IT Service Management processes (incident, request, change).
- 2+ years of experience in working with teams whose members are spread around the world.
- Ability to analyze business problems and develop appropriate IT solutions.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate technical information in a way that business users can understand.
- Understanding of customer focus, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Solid skills in English (written and spoken) and preferably any other Elisa Company language such as Swedish, Finnish, or German.

The work effort is supported by:

- Knowledge of technologies within the Office IT domain (M365, networking, etc.).
- Experience in managing projects or working in one or more of the following areas: Sales, Marketing, Finance, or HR.
- Capability of producing visually good quality documents with clear messaging.
- Personal characteristics such as curiosity, business-mindedness, leadership skills, positivity, structure, and excellent communication skills.
- Ideally, you have worked in a software company and have gone through scale-up and/or consolidation phases.
- Minimum Bachelor's or higher degree, e.g., in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Willingness to travel.
