Introduction and Summary

We are looking for a Head of Information Security & Compliance to oversee the establishment and execution of the security vision and strategy within the organization. This role requires a strategic leader to manage enterprise-wide risk frameworks, ensure compliance with legal standards, and address security incidents effectively. The consultant will work remotely for 6 months, starting as soon as possible, and must align security initiatives with the organization's business objectives.

Main Objectives

1. Strategic Guidance: Offer high-level insights to enhance the overall security posture, aligning security initiatives with evolving business priorities.
2. Risk & Compliance Advisory: Advise on the development and implementation of effective risk management practices and compliance measures, drawing on internationally recognized frameworks.
3. Security Policy & Framework Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and refine security policies, ensuring robust defenses and regulatory adherence without disclosing sensitive operational details.
4. Crisis & Incident Preparedness: Provide expert recommendations for proactive incident management and business continuity, focusing on tailored, confidential strategies.

Key Requirements

1. Proven experience in IT security within a multinational setting (5-10 years).
2. Previous experience of roles such as Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Security Officer or similar positions.
3. Experience with one or more compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO9001, NEN7510, ISEA3402.
4. Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
6. Experience working in a compliance environment such as finance, legal, or other regulated industries.

Nice to Haves

1. Experience in MedTech.
2. Familiarity with medical device regulations (MDR).

1. Location: 100% remote.
2. Duration: 6 months.
3. Start Date: ASAP.
