Job Title: MVH International - Total Rewards Business Partner

Department: People and Organization

Reports To: MVH (Mars Veterinary Health) International Total Rewards Lead

Location: Sweden / Netherlands / Germany [Hybrid working]

Languages: Proficiency in English and any other European language is a plus.

Contract: Full Time

Employment Visa: Preference for Candidates with a Valid Work Permit

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering:

1. Partner with the different countries to implement and execute new/revised compensation and benefits programs.
2. Assist with M&A activities linked to TR, support and manage the setup of new schemes, with new clinic acquisitions.
3. Ensure compliance and governance of all TR plans and programs including identifying risks and delivering corrective actions.
4. Act as an escalation point for P&O managers for total rewards queries – subject matter expert.
5. Upskill/educate internal stakeholders in all areas of TR (philosophy, plans and practices).
6. Manage 3rd party TR relationships.
7. Oversee the development of TR communications.

Compensation:

1. Co-manage effective and efficient rewards programs, processes and implement the required technology solutions.
2. Perform job evaluations, market pricing and provide salary recommendations.
3. Proactively co-manage all compensation transition projects in the region – interpret salary data and perform analyses to ensure competitive positioning.
4. Assist in building and renewing pay ranges in multiple countries.
5. Report on external market trends to stakeholder groups, providing detailed insights as needed by the different units (e.g., market compensation & benefits development, our competition landscape, key/top talent, critical skills…).

Supervise the timely and effective administration of the annual merit cycles & variable pay planning processes.

1. Co-manage benefit roadmaps with the different business units/countries.
2. Manage and provide insights on specific associate benefits.
3. Assist in design & implementation of inclusive and equitable benefit programs.
4. Support improvements in our current benefit offerings to ensure competitiveness.
5. Support global benefits governance and compliance.
6. Support business units with annual benefits renewals (partnering with our 3rd party partners).
7. Develop communication tools to enhance associates understanding and knowledge of their benefits package.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, supporting a total rewards function.
2. Experience in service, retail or health industries preferred.
3. Extensive knowledge of job and pay framework methodologies.
4. Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software.
5. Demonstrated analytic abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to prioritize business and customer needs.
7. Experience or ability to work in a ‘start-up’ environment where there are no/limited processes, systems, resources.
8. Knowledge of change management.
9. High agility and resilience.
10. Strong written, oral and listening communication skills.
11. Strong interpersonal skills.
12. Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills.
13. Ability to speak fluent English, other languages a plus.
14. Minimum qualification: University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Business.
15. Preferred qualification: Combination of education and experience preferred.
