
Test Area Coordinator for Control Systems in FACTS Solutions

Join our experienced team at Power Quality and help to enable the green transition in the worldwide energy market by delivering solutions from our market-leading FACTS portfolio. We have an open position for a Test Aera Coordinator in our test area. The test area is used for testing control and protection panels in delivery and R&D projects.
In this role, you will have several areas of responsibility to ensure efficient and safe operation in the test facility. You will also, together with the Test Area Responsible, drive process improvements and ensure that instructions and guidelines are up to date and followed. This role is essential to ensuring our license to operate in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost in the test area.
How you'll make an impact
- Safe operations: You will ensure the test facility operates safely by maintaining order and cleanliness, managing equipment inspections, and participating in safety rounds and councils. This includes conducting regular tests and maintenance of safety devices and maintaining an active dialogue with project teams to address support needs.
- Efficient operations: You will streamline operations by leading assistants, ensuring the availability of project materials and equipment, and managing the inventory and calibration of tools. Additionally, you will oversee the procurement of consumables and act as a cyber security asset manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure good order in the test facility by educating colleagues and improving test area processes, instructions, and guidelines.
- Maintain the inventory list on equipment requiring regular inspections.
- Have a continuous dialogue with all projects about current support needs. Maintain and update the inventory list on test equipment, ensuring equipment is allocated correctly.
- Provide daily leadership for assistants performing simpler tasks to facilitate projects.
- Ensure availability of consumables and order new supplies before they run out.
- Keep track of test equipment and ensure their calibration.
- Act as cyber security asset manager, overseeing the security of IT assets according to applicable guidelines.

Your Background
- Experience in electrical installations or test areas, with knowledge about electrical risks and risk assessments.
- High focus on HSE, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and verification of systems.
- Team player with effective communication and collaboration skills both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in English is required; Swedish is considered an added value.
