What you'll do

As a Legal Counsel at Doconomy, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, playing a pivotal role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting our dynamic business operations. You'll be an instrumental part of a collaborative and passionate team of two, reporting to Doconomy’s Head of Legal.

- Independently draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements (SaaS/license agreements) and partnership agreements with large financial institutions.
- Manage personal data/GDPR compliance.
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, including corporate governance and corporate finance, such as support in relation to options programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Finance, and Product, to minimize risks, maximize opportunities, and navigate complex challenges.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Help develop and implement legal strategies and policies to protect the company's intellectual property and other valuable assets.

What you'll bring to the Team

Your Background

- A Swedish law degree.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or as an in-house legal counsel. Experience from a FinTech company or a bank is meritorious.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex SaaS/license and other commercial agreements.
- Experience in working with data processing/GDPR.
- Experience in handling corporate matters.
- You are based in Stockholm.
