We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a team of test engineers responsible for conducting critical testing procedures.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be leading a team of approximately 11 test engineers. Your team will be responsible for executing environmental, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and optical tests to verify product functionality. These tests support the entire product lifecycle, from development and design verification to production qualification.
In this role, you will provide leadership, coaching, and support to ensure that both individual and team goals align with project and organizational objectives. You will manage day-to-day operations, prioritize tasks effectively, and allocate resources to meet future project demands. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in refining and maintaining procedures and routines that are crucial for ensuring high-quality test execution and continuous improvement.
A significant focus of the laboratory is on optical testing, which requires close collaboration with optical physics experts. The EMC tests conducted are accredited under the ISO17025 quality standard, which places stringent demands on test execution and quality management. You will work alongside the Quality Leader to uphold and continuously improve the management system through internal and external audits.
Your responsibilities will also include developing strategic initiatives, investing in equipment and personnel competence, and ensuring the laboratory is prepared to meet the evolving demands of future products and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the dedicated laboratory facilities and contribute to global engineering services by fostering collaboration across different laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead, support, and motivate the test engineering team to achieve project and business objectives.
– Plan and prioritize tasks, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
– Maintain and improve laboratory procedures and routines to enhance quality and efficiency.
– Collaborate closely with optical experts to refine optical testing methodologies.
– Ensure compliance with ISO17025 standards and support quality audits.
– Drive strategic initiatives related to laboratory capability development, including investments in equipment and skill development.
– Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

– Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in a testing environment.
Education & Experience
– A university degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Required Skills

– Fluency in English (expert level)
– Fluency in Swedish (expert level)
