Senior Vice President of R&D - Access Risk

Are you ready to lead innovation in a fast-paced, international environment? Do you thrive on both individual drive and teamwork? Outpost24 is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) of R&D to grow, shape, and future-proof our development department for the Access Risk portfolio.

About the Role

As SVP of R&D for Access Risk, you will lead our R&D organization for the Business Unit Access Risk. Your primary focus will be on growing and managing a high-performing team while driving strategic initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in steering us toward our goals, including:

- Fostering a collaborative environment where customer-focused, empowered, and engaged employees make fact-based decisions with transparency and trust.
- Building a modern, robust, scalable, and cost-efficient technical platform that enables rapid development and onboarding of new features and customers.
- Ensuring a transparent development process, with clear priorities, long-term strategies, and a proactive approach to evolving our tech platforms and tools. You’ll proudly bring new features to market alongside product management, on time and with quality.

Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll work closely with all departments across Outpost24, including Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Strong leadership experience able to combine long-term strategy with operational execution in managing R&D in a global/hybrid model setting.
- A passion for leadership, along with strong planning, coordination, and communication skills (in English; Swedish is a plus).
- Expertise in software development processes, including agile and lean methodologies, and a background in organizational transformation able to challenge the status quo.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and business acumen.
- A positive attitude and a team-first mentality—after all, attitude is everything
