The position
We are seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our growing team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered and visually appealing interfaces for our global web applications and e-commerce solutions. You will collaborate closely with the UX manager, product manager, developers, and other designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
The Roxtec web and e-commerce department covers development, operations, and support for our websites for all the 30 subsidiaries in the group, worldwide. The department is based at the Roxtec headquarters in Karlskrona, but the team is localized in Karlskrona and Malmö, Sweden.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Develop clear and intuitive information architecture, user flows, and wireframes.
• Design engaging and effective interactions, micro-interactions, and user interfaces.
• Create visually appealing and consistent interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
• Develop interactive prototypes for testing and iteration.
• Collaborate with UX manager, product manager, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
• Experience in UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant education in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Good to have
• A portfolio demonstrating your UX/UI design skills and experience across various platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience in creating responsive and mobile user interfaces.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience in analyzing user data and user surveys.
