We are looking for a highly skilled IT/OT Security Consultant to join our client’s team on a consultancy basis. This role is crucial for leading and controlling OT/IT and information security efforts within the BECCS project. Your Role

As an IT/OT Security Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, security governance, and risk management within the organization’s IT and OT environments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to strengthen the security framework and mitigate risks.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead and manage OT/IT and information security efforts within the BECCS project.
- Design, develop, and implement governing documents related to IT and information security.
- Provide information, training, and compliance monitoring of security policies.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability analyses and contribute to disaster and continuity planning.
- Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Participate in security protection initiatives and monitor OT/IT security developments.
- Follow up on security compliance and report findings to management.
- Define security requirements for projects and ensure proper implementation.
- Review agreements, products, services, and suppliers in terms of OT/IT security.
- Stay updated on IT security trends, threats, and regulatory developments.
- Act as a security architect in OT and IT architecture councils.
- Coordinate OT/IT security audits and liaise with relevant authorities.
- Manage critical security incidents as a major incident manager.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

- 3-5 years of experience in IT and information security.
- Experience working in an outsourced OT/IT environment with supplier collaboration.
- Strong documentation, communication, and training abilities.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate emerging threats.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred:

- Experience working on large-scale projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Based in Stockholm, with availability to be on-site Monday to Wednesday if required.

The assignment is based in Stockholm, Sweden, with the flexibility of remote work when required.

Project Duration & Scope

- Start Date: March 3, 2025
- End Date: August 31, 2025
- Extension Option: 1+1 year
- Workload: 40 hours per week
