Optinova Group är en ledade global leverantör av avancerade slanglösningar för medicintekniskt och industriellt bruk.

Nu behöver Optinova förstärka sitt Group Finance team med en Business Controller Operations, som antingen sitter på huvudkontoret i Mariehamn på Åland eller är anställd på kontoret i Uppsala. Som Business Controller kommer du vara ansvara för att förvalta och vidareutveckla Optinovas standardkostnadsmodell som implementerades januari 2025. Du äger, leder och utvecklar business controllingområdet inom Operations, tillsammans med Group Operations och övriga Business Controllers och Group Finance.

För att bli framgångsrik som Business Controller hos Optinova Group behöver du ha ett starkt affärstänk och en förmåga och ett intresse att snabbt förstå nya affärsprocesser. Du behöver ha en väl utvecklad analytisk förmåga och du tycker det är både roligt och utvecklande att presentera dina resultat, muntligt och skriftligt, för olika målgrupper. Du har erfarenhet av controlling från ett tillverkande bolag och du är en riktig lagspelare som med ditt energiska sätt får folk med dig på tåget. Att du är duktigt på engelska är en förutsättning, eftersom det är koncernspråk.

Som Business Controller kommer du bl a:

• att fortsätta utveckla och utföra månads- och ad-hoc analys av både finansiell och operativ data för att stödja beslutsfattande inom Optinova Group

• att identifiera viktiga kostnadsdrivare och sätta upp strukturer för hur man kontinuerligt mäter och följer upp koncernens verksamhet

• stötta utvecklingen av strategisk finansiell plan tillsammans med business controllers, Group Treasurer and Core Operations Team

• ansvara för årlig standardkostnadsprocess baserat på kostnadsdrivare i den strategiska affärsplanen

• producera och presentera olika business case och arbeta med företagets affärsplanering och beslutsunderlag

Som Business Controller rapporterar du till koncernens CFO, Anna, som beskriver bolaget så här: "Optinova är ett bolag som syftar till att förbättra liv och verksamheter – med engagerade, professionella medarbetare. Koncernen växer och utvecklas viket innebär spännande utmaningar inom Finance, som förstås har en mycket viktig roll i denna tillväxtresa. Då nuvarande global Business Controller-Operations valt att gå vidare till annan roll inom bolaget söker vi nu hennes efterträdare."

I din roll kommer du att sitta i den globala ledningsgruppen inom Operations och du kommer även vara en medlem av de två åländska fabrikernas ledningsgrupper. Om du bor i Uppsalaregionen kommer därför regelbundna resor till Åland ingå, en gång per månad i genomsnitt.

The Optinova Group is one of the leading global suppliers of advanced tubing solutions for the medical device industry, as well as fluoropolymer tubing for challenging industrial applications. With clear focus on quality and partnerships, Optinova aims for better quality wherever they operate.

Optinova needs to strengthen the Group Finance team with a Business Controller. The role can be placed at the head office in Mariehamn on Åland or in Uppsala. As a Business Controller you will manage and continue to develop Optinova's standard costing model that was implemented globally in January 2025. You own, lead and develop the global business controlling framework for operations, together with the Group Operations leadership team, other business controllers, and the Group Finance team.

To be successful as a Business Controller at Optinova Group, you need to have a strong business mindset and an ability and interest in quickly understanding new business processes. You need to have well-developed analytical skills and you find it both fun and developing to present your results, verbally and in writing. You have experience in controlling from a manufacturing company and you are a team player who, with your energetic way, gets people on board with you. The group language is English.

As a Business Controller, you are responsible, among other things, for:

• to develop and present monthly and ad-hoc analysis of both financial and operational data to support decision makers within the Optinova Group

• to identify important cost drivers and set up structures for how to continuously measure and follow up the group´s operations

• Support the finance strategic plan together with the Core Operations team and senior finance team

• manage the annual standard costing process based on drivers agreed in the strategic plan

• produce and present different business cases and work with the company´s business planning and decision making material

As Business Controller, you report to the group´s CFO, Anna, who describes the company as follows: "Optinova is a company that aims to improve lives and operations – with dedicated, professional employees. The Group is growing and developing, which poses exciting challenges in Finance, which of course has a very important role in this growth journey. As our current Business Controller-Operations is pursing another role in the Optinova group, we are looking for her replacement."

In your role, you will be a key member of the Global Core Operations team, and you will also me a member of the management teams of the two Åland plants. If you are located in the Uppsala region, monthly travelling to Åland will therefore be an expectation.
