To manage a team supporting the engineering area in IT tools/applications, we are looking for:

Line Manager for Development - PLM Application, Applications Tools and LCM team.

The successful candidate will lead the development team, responsible for the development of new functionalities in the current IT tools setup and new solution implementation.

The line manager will take care of security & governance of the IT tools/applications and coordinate new IT development initiatives/projects.

Your responsibilities:

1. Leading the development team, responsible for application development in the PLM Area.

2. Responsible for application development and testing, integrations between systems, application enhancements/new functionality, process development, quality assurance, and implementation of new development project capabilities in production by working closely with the operations team.

3. Overall responsible for coordinating the technical development and resource allocation between development projects.

4. Driving the strategy/vision and continuous improvement of application development processes, testing strategies, and standards.

5. Implementing the company global vision at the department level in accordance with business targets.

6. Defining annual strategies, budget, and development plans.

7. Promoting work with Health and Safety.

8. Continually following up and improving processes, policies, and procedures.

9. Building and developing the team and the individuals in it by managing employee training and development initiatives, as well as providing strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the function.

10. Providing insight and managing priorities for the team while ensuring activities performance and quality goals.

11. Taking a proactive approach and actively participating in recruiting activities.

12. Planning for project staffing and adjusting it according to business needs, as well as planning for both short-term and more strategic long-term changes in the team structure.

13. Managing employee relations, developing, and executing employee engagement initiatives to foster a sense of community among employees.

14. Partnering with the management team to develop, improve, and implement strategic people management initiatives and ensuring processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences.

15. Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to ensure implementations meet customer requirements.

16. Planning and driving team meetings and technical meetings.

Your Background:

1. You have documented experience working with system/application development and have a good understanding of IT operations and Product Lifecycle Management practices.

2. You have experience with complex Product Lifecycle Management Systems, especially Teamcenter applications related to Engineering and a general understanding of Software Lifecycle Processes.

3. Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility.

4. Knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.

5. Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies.

6. Experience in Agile project management methodologies.

7. Other experience in relevant areas such as talent management, employee relations, human resources, team leading, company founding, start-up or scale-up, business administration, change management, process development, organizational management, staffing, business development, performance management, and/or similar.

8. You have strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.

9. Fluency in English, with fluency in Swedish being a qualifying factor.

10. Good knowledge of DevOps and ITIL best practices.
