German-speaking Area Sales Manager

Parkell Europe is looking for an enthusiastic Area Sales Manager that believes in the importance of qualified dental care and is passionate about supporting the dental profession with the highest quality materials and devices.

The position is a full-time role based in our offices in Upplands Väsby reporting to the Managing Director.

About the Role as Area Sales Manager

Parkell Europe was founded four years ago with the aim of getting closer to Parkell’s European customers and adapt marketing and sales strategies to local dealer’s needs. Our main customers are Europe’s leading wholesalers of dental products.

In your role as Area Sales Manager you will actively work with existing and new European dealers with the aim of winning new business and increasing sales from current customers. You will keep regular contact with them, arrange marketing and sales activities, train their sales personnel and represent Parkell at dental exhibitions and events. You will be part of a small, fast-growing local team but also interact with our colleagues based on Long Island.

To succeed in this role it is important that you

- are a people person, comfortable with meeting customers face-to-face (physically and digitally) and able to create and nurture long-term and profitable business relationships

- are comfortable working independently, taking initiatives and planning your time based on a detailed activity plan

- have experience or genuine interest in B2B sales in the dental/medical field

- are willing to travel 60-90 days per year

- fluency in English and German is required, working knowledge of other European languages is a advantage

- relevant academic education and/or and documented experience in B2B sales is an advantage

- hands-on attitude, a warm personality, relationship building and customer service skills are highly valued.
